What do you do?
I manage the Client Services Team in Canada to ensure that our clients have the best resources to meet – and hopefully exceed – our shared objectives.
How did you get here?
I started my career in advertising agencies, but quickly found myself entrenched in financial services direct marketing. I have worked in the marketing departments of some of the leading insurance companies in Canada: CIGNA Life, Manulife and Canada Life. From there I moved to CIBC where I implemented retention initiatives for a high volume card portfolio, took an R&D role to enable online marketing initiatives, and a marketing operations role to introduce PIN and CHIP technology to Canada.
After many years focusing on marketing financial services products via alternative distribution channels, I joined the world-leader, ReMark, in 2006.
Why do you do it?
I like the global reach of ReMark and the opportunity we have to learn and apply what works in other markets.
What have you learned during your career?
Always ask questions: when you leave a question unasked, you are generally not the only one.
What do you do away from work?
I like to cook, read and travel. Most of my free time is spent with my family – I anticipate an imminent future as a hockey mom for my 8 year old son.
