What do you do?
I am the Head of our American and European partnership business. My team and I are responsible for the development and growth of our business partnerships in some of the world’s most dynamic and challenging markets.
In addition, I lead our Partnership Distribution Group, a “global connectivity” forum to co-ordinate our client services and business development activities.
How did you get here?
Like many of my colleagues, I had worked as a client and competitor of ReMark before I joined. My career started in Canada with a BPO specialising in financial services and insurance operations. Looking for a change after completing an MBA, I met ReMark and was immediately attracted to the entrepreneurial spirit of the company and the value ReMark creates for its partners.
So I joined ReMark in Canada, before moving to The Netherlands to restart our business model in Spain and Portugal. I now lead the partnership business in both the Americas and Europe.
Why do you do it?
Because I believe we are the best. I love the challenges we are presented with every day, and I like the people I work with – both team and clients.
What have you learned during your career?
Do what you are passionate about and be passionate about what you do.
What do you do away from work?
My wife and two sons keep me very busy. In my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball, reading and the odd glass of Burgundy.
